For this rooftop terrace, we built a custom pergola that was reviewed and approved by a structural engineer. We also installed a synthetic lawn and a number of planters with native plants and trees.

Brooklyn Backyard Design and Build

This garden, almost exclusively, is composed of plants that have either edible or medicinal features.

Brooklyn Backyard Makeover

We noticed when we first scouted this backyard that the ground was an uneven concrete, so we suggested to our clients that they have us build a custom deck using a recycled composite wood material and line it on one side with a soft and high quality turf. We then replaced the dead arborvitae and added custom trellises to that area to maintain some privacy from the sightline of their neighbors.

The Basketball Court!

We were asked by our clients to remove a jungle of weeds and replace it with a synthetic lawn, a native and fruit producing boarder garden and a basketball hoop. We also replaced their old fence with a brand new one and made a hidden old fence in the back of the garden, a more promanant piece of the space!

Children’s Play Garden

Complete with a playhouse, rain garden, vegetable garden and lawn, this double backyard in Brooklyn is now a perfect place for our clients children to play.

Manhattan Terrace Build: Custom Seating, Roses and Blueberries

This Manhattan terrace is complete with a custom wood sofa and matching planters. The sofa includes built in planters, storage beneath the seats and lights along the base. The terrace has a turf rug, a hidden but accessible irrigation system, as well many roses and blueberries.

The Meadow in Forrest Hills, Queens

Our client asked us for an all native front meadow and year, this garden delivers an exciting number of blooms all throughout the spring summer and fall.
